The archaeological site of Biru e’Concas, if it is an area dominated by a hill, in the territory of the municipality of Sorgono, in the province of Nuoro. It is about 8.5 km from the town center.

Within the area you can admire multiple menhirs, arranged in various ways: single, in pairs, in triads, in spectacular alignments also formed by 20 menhirs. In total there are about two hundred large sculpted and smoothed boulders to obtain an ogival form: the most ancient, proto-anthropomorphic, dating back to the Neolithic recency (3500-2800 BC), the most worked and stylized, anthropomorphic and collocated in the care (2700 -1700 BC).

The site of Biru 'e Concas, which means' Path of the heads' has aroused great curiosity and sparked a wide debate due to its position perfectly in the center of Sardinia, is a five-hundred-meter hill where man has found the opportunity to settle , various remains are witnessed in the surrounding area. Near the site with a hidden spring and in return, traces of huts and circle shape are still visible, probably remains of a village built a few meters from nuraghi and gives a tomb of the giants of which the ruins have been found.
