Monserrato (Paùli in Sardo) is an Italian city of the metropolitan city of Cagliari in Sardinia, located on the outskirts of the capital.

The town, of uncertain origin, its historical events were for many centuries common to those of nearby Pirri, until in 1690 it was incorporated into the county of San Lorenzo granted to the Santjust family, who kept it until 1839.
In the central via Zuddas you can admire the parish church of S. Ambrogio, at the south-eastern limit of the historic center; of the original Gothic-Catalan architecture dating back to the 15th-16th centuries. retains, on the facade, only the portal and the oculus.
