It is located in Gallura, at the foot of Mount Limbara at about 600 meters above sea level
The territory of Tempio Pausania is characterized by woods and beautiful springs in the granite massif of Limbara

Tempio is splendid even in winter, with the snow rarely missing between February and March
Among the most interesting buildings, in Piazza Gallura you can admire the eighteenth-century palace of the Marquises of Villamarina, currently the seat of the curia, next to which stands the thirteenth century Cathedral of San Pietro ApostoloOther ecclesiastical buildings worth visiting are the church of Purgatorio and Sant'Antonio
Note, Piazza Faber, dedicated to Fabrizio De Andrè who had a great relationship with Tempio and lived for a long time in the Agnata estate, where now stands a splendid farmhouse managed by the family
