With over 15 years of hands-on expertise, Pietro and Roberta have diverged from mainstream practices like organic or natural winemaking. Firm believers in the idea that wine quality originates in the vineyard, they avoid sourcing grapes or must from external suppliers.
Exclusively working with their own grapes, nurtured slowly through synergistic agriculture and dry farming techniques, Cantina Lilliu avoids pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. The vines flourish under the care and shield of neighboring plants.
As spring arrives, lush vegetation between rows forms a rich carpet that imparts essential nutrients to both grapes and soil. Organic fertilizers further enhance vine health. This meticulous approach is driven by passion and thoughtfulness.
