Arzachena, until a few decades ago was a peaceful inland pastoral village, has today transformed into the capital of one of the most famous tourist regions in the world, the Costa Smeralda, the country has changed a lot.
In the upper part of the village, guarding the houses, there is a curious rock sculpted by the wind which due to its shape is
called the Fungo, and in the surroundings there are many traces of prehistory.
Among the most interesting sites for an excursion
inside are the Nuraghe Albicciu, the Tomb of Giants Coddu
Vecchiu and the Li Muri Necropolis.
