Poderosa operates in the Mejlogu ("middle place"), a micro region that is part of a larger area called Logudoro, located in the north-western part of Sardinia, an island located in the center of the Mediterranean SeaThe Meilogu still houses an impressive archaeological heritage, in which stand out the Nuragic Palace of "Santu Antine", the necropolis and the "domus de janas" of Museddu and the necropolis of Sant'Andrea Priu

The vineyards of the Poderosa winery stretch at the foot of Monte Santu; the six hectares are bred entirely with the traditional sapling system and are distributed, in different plots, within an area rich in history (The Culture of Bonnanaro is a pre-nuragic culture that developed in Sardinia in the second millenniumC (1800-1500 aC)

It is an area particularly suited to the cultivation of the most precious and appreciated vines, such as Cannonau, Vermentino, Cagnulari and La Monica
