The church of Sant \\\'Eulalia is located in the Marina district, between the current streets of the Collegio and Sant \\\\\\\' Eulalia, on which the access stairway opens. It was built in the first half of the fourteenth century in Gothic-Catalan forms, still legible despite the numerous restorations that have taken place over time. The plan is divided into a nave divided into two bays with four chapels on each side. Behind the presbytery is the square choir, surmounted by a hemispherical dome, with an octagonal base lantern. The façade is a hut with hanging arches and two lateral buttresses. In the center is the splayed portal surmounted by a rose window. The bell tower has a square base, ending in a cusp. The fortuitous discovery in 1990 of a well under the sacristy initiated the archaeological investigations, which, completed in May 2002, involved the area below the church. The excavations have made it possible to reconstruct the history of a stretch of the Marina district, highlighting the monumental remains that were buried under the almost 7 meters of earth on which the Aragonese ecclesiastical building was erected. The importance of the discovery made the creation of an underground path inevitable, which allows the visitor to appreciate the traces of ancient Karales. The first attendance dates back to around the third century BC, when the area was used as an open-air quarry. A base probably belonging to a thesaurus must also refer to the same chronological context.
