Born just over twenty years ago, the "Giovanni Montisci" winery came to life after Giovanni himself, once a professional mechanic, inherited the old vines previously belonging to his mother-in-lawSince then, a continuous and ever deeper passion for the land, vines and wine has started to grow, which in a short time pushed Giovanni to embark on a path made of tests, experiments and sacrifices, both among the rows how much in the cellar
In the vineyard, taking inspiration from some elderly and expert local winemakers, Giovanni learns about agronomic techniques, together with those important secrets deriving from centuries-old local traditions
After having sold the bulk wine for some vintages, and after having learned important knowledge, it was in 2004 that Giovanni made the decision to start bottling his wine, so, numbered one by one and refilled without adding any in substance, it produces around seven hundred bottles, which it dedicates to local friends and consumers
