Altea Illotto

IMG
The production of Altea Illotto wines takes place in five hectares of vineyards belonging to the Sibiola IGT denomination, the smallest typical geographical indication of Sardinia, which includes only the municipalities of Serdiana and Soleminis, in the province of Cagliari
The vines are indigenous and traditional: Cannonau, Carignano, Monica, Muristellu, Girò, Sardinian Barbera for the red grapes and Nuragus, Nasco, Vermentino, Moscato and Malvasia Sarda for the white ones mainly grown at the hostel and Guyot Poussard called in the carriadroxia area with s 'appicamantella , on white soils, muddy marls, in the low hills of Serdiana
The choice of the owners Maurizio (agronomist) and Adele (agronomist and oenologist) to implement an environmentally friendly viticulture comes from afar: in fact, since 1993, all their company has followed the practices of organic agriculture
